Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior Litigation Attorney to join its California-based litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney with over a decade of litigation experience, particularly in managing high-volume, fast-paced case environments. The position provides the opportunity to lead sophisticated litigation matters and collaborate with experienced trial teams. Candidates must be licensed in California.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of complex civil litigation matters

• Lead trial and arbitration preparation, including development of litigation strategy

• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and handle discovery

• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and pre-trial conferences

• Oversee e-discovery and review document productions

• Maintain responsibility for all case files from inception through resolution

• Provide mentorship to junior attorneys and collaborate with internal legal teams

• Communicate directly with clients regarding case updates and litigation strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience

• Experience in both trial preparation and active courtroom litigation

• Proficiency in managing large caseloads with complex legal issues

• Familiarity with e-discovery platforms and litigation software tools

• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California

• In good standing with the California State Bar
