Job Overview:
A growing and mission-driven law firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join its High-Skilled Immigration team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This position focuses on employment-based immigrant visa matters for clients in sectors such as technology, bioscience, and engineering. Attorneys in this role collaborate closely with case managers and clients to develop strategic legal solutions for EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 visa applications. Location:

  • Ann Arbor, Michigan

Duties:

  • Advise clients on immigration strategies for EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, and O-1 visa categories

  • Conduct client consultations to explain immigrant work visa processes, timelines, and requirements

  • Collaborate with case managers to prepare and file immigrant visa petitions

  • Draft legal documents and prepare detailed responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)

  • Provide ongoing case updates and guidance to clients

  • Conduct legal research on immigration policy and regulatory updates

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and provide educational support throughout the process

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and adhere to strict legal deadlines

  • Willingness to collaborate across teams and maintain a high level of client interaction

  • Strong emotional intelligence and client-service orientation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in any U.S. State Bar (in good standing)
