Duties: 

• Manage a steady volume of insurance litigation cases across various insurance lines, including annuity, health, life, long-term care, disability, and property & casualty
• Engage with regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters related to corporate governance, insurance holding company regulation, investment, market conduct, and solvency
• Collaborate with clients and provide strategic legal advice on complex insurance matters
• Participate in business development opportunities and build relationships within the insurance industry
• Work as part of a cohesive team while also handling cases autonomously

Requirements: 

• 11 years of experience in litigation, preferably within insurance or related fields
• Strong motivation to develop expertise in insurance law and build a client base
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases independently while collaborating with a team

Education: 

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications: 

• Active admission in the State Bar

Skills: 

• Proficiency in litigation procedures and strong case management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions
