Litigation and/or Merger Control - Antitrust Associate

Job Overview

An internationally recognized law firm is currently seeking a highly qualified Antitrust Associate to support its growing Antitrust & Competition Practice. This role is ideal for a mid-level associate (3rd to 5th year) with at least two years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control. The position offers the opportunity to work with top-tier clients and contribute to cutting-edge legal matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation, including government investigations, enforcement actions, and private litigation.

• Advise on regulatory aspects of merger control, including Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filings and global antitrust reviews.

• Draft legal briefs, motions, memoranda, and regulatory documents.

• Provide strategic antitrust counsel to clients across a range of industries.

• Collaborate with attorneys and staff across multiple offices and practice areas.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.

• Familiarity with U.S. antitrust laws and regulatory frameworks.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines in a team-oriented setting.

• Eligible to practice law in the United States.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate resides or intends to practice.

Skills

• Deep understanding of antitrust and competition law.

• Outstanding legal writing, research, and analytical skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
