Job Title: ACT Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in Redwood City, CA, is seeking a driven and multilingual Associate with at least one year of antitrust experience to join its internationally renowned competition law team. This opportunity offers the chance to work on complex cross-border matters in coordination with legal professionals across leading global jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will be intellectually agile, client-focused, and comfortable operating in both domestic and international legal settings.

Duties:

  • Support senior attorneys on antitrust matters, including merger reviews, government investigations, and litigation

  • Collaborate across offices on multijurisdictional cases involving major corporate clients

  • Engage in agency-facing work, strategic counseling, and litigation proceedings

  • Analyze global regulatory frameworks and provide strategic insight for cross-border matters

  • Assist with filings, briefings, and preparation for appearances before regulatory bodies

  • Communicate effectively with international clients and colleagues across different time zones and languages

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in antitrust, competition, or related legal areas

  • Strong analytical skills and experience handling complex legal and factual issues

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on global teams

  • Must hold an active license to practice law in the state of California

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar

Skills:

  • Proficiency in English and at least one of the following: Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish, or Vietnamese
