Duties

• Represent clients in criminal cases, including misdemeanors and felonies

• Handle all aspects of legal defense, including legal research, motion practice, plea negotiations, and trials

• Advocate for clients in DMV hearings related to DUI cases

• Develop and implement strong defense strategies

• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding case status and legal options

• Collaborate with the firm’s legal team to ensure effective case outcomes

Requirements

• Active California State Bar license and in good standing

• Minimum of one year of criminal defense experience (preferred but not required for highly motivated candidates)

• Strong litigation, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills

• Ability to manage a caseload effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

• Passion for criminal defense and a commitment to protecting clients’ rights

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
